A lot of the reclaimed teak on the market today has joints that are bolted together or is produced en mass using inferior building mathods and/or timber. This makes the timber more liable to warping or splitting & the joints often loosen over time. Not with our reclaimed teak tables … Mortice & tenon joints are cut by hand & then reinforced with teak dowels & these are then further reinforced by chunky holding panels bolted to the mainframe that offer long-lasting strength every time. At 12cm thick & double reinforced the table top is strengthened underneath with teak rivets & the legs are chunkily thick at 11cm thick.
