Teak naturally has a very high oil content & dense grain & this offers it natural protection against the elements outside all year round without the need for external protectors. These are by far our most popular outdoor rattan chairs & are available in 7 different rattan colours. Perhaps the best thing about the whole set is the fact that in a modern market, it resurrects that classic feel which is so popular nowadays. The rattan is manufactured to the highest standards. It contains no Lead, Cadmium or Chromium – unlike other brands on the market – that are harmful to the environment & is 100% recyclable. This, along with the fact that it produces very little waste during manufacture, makes it environmentally friendly. All fibres are UV stabilised & colour fast. The fibres are highly resistant to water including sea & chlorinated water an important quality for outdoor use. We offer a three-year guarantee on the rattan weave. As a fibre, it is tested to withstand a range of temperatures from -70 to +70 giving it that non-fade or degraded quality for long-lasting appeal. The weave they produce is virtually maintenance-free & can be cleaned easily with a quick wipe down every now & again with a wet cloth. Kobe Nesting Tables … These come in three sizes & the designs never fail to catch the eye & offer up a talking point. Each one is hand crafted & the reclaimed teak root sections are hand finished to look like they are running across the table top & down the sides. Teak Root at a glance: This beautiful timber has fantastic character & the reclaimed root sections have huge rustic appeal as well. It is far superior to any other timber, particularly when used outdoors due to an abundance of natural oils & a very dense grain. In time the natural ageing process will turn the root section a silver-grey patina which will add to the overall character in general.
