The Bataleon Surfer features an ultra wide 3D nose & a deep cut swallowtail for maximum float in powder. As the name suggest this board feels like a surfboard on snow. But the Surfer is not just for super deep powder days, the progressive outline paired with POW 3BT guarantee powerful turns & astonishing edge hold on the piste as well. As with all Bataleon boards, the Surfer features the 3BT base, also know as Tripple Base Technology.  The sidebase areas at the widest points of the board is lifted up so it's not in contact with the snow. But the base is only on a 3 degree angle so you don't need much pressure applied until the board is on an edge & carves amazingly. The boards turn smoother & faster & it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings. In addition to the 3BT, the surfer also features Sidekick. The Side Kick feature dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose & tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder & handling of the board in rough terrain. The surfer features  Pow 3BT features a narrow centerbase & maximum uplift with Side Kick in the nose. The Surfer also features Dual Radial Super Tubes to make the board lighter, stronger & give it more pop.  Super Tubes are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core of the board & together with the Carbon stringers, that is placed in the tail & nose of the board, the woodcore’s natural pop is greatly increased. The Air Ride feature is a flexible composite material that is incorporated into the woodcore along the 3BT crease points. This material helps dampen vibration at high speed & make your snowboard smoother in all conditions just like a premium suspension on a off road car.   Add a sintered base & you have got yourself a super fun, fast, floaty, feather light & fantastic snowboard to ride everywhere on the mountain.
