Fully refurbished Rolex Submariner - Reference 114060 - Dated 2016 - Original Papers - Rolex box. The Rolex Submariner is characterised by its highly legible dial. Models after 2010 feature larger, contemporary 18ct gold fashioned hour markers and hands, displaying a long-lasting blue luminescence called Chromalight. This blue glow replaces the green of earlier models, appearing brighter to dark adjusted eyes. Crafted from stainless steel, the case is measured at 40mm and due to the introduction of over-sized crown guards and lugs, models from 2010 onwards appear larger on the wrist than earlier referenced Submariners. Equipped with a black coloured unidirectional rotating bezel with a UV and scratch resistant Cerachrom ceramic insert. Engraved with 60-minute graduations and
luminescent capsule on the zero-marker allowing accurate and safe dive timings. The unidirectional bezel acts as a diving safety device, only turning counter-clockwise. This means that if the bezel is accidentally knocked, the crucial remaining dive duration could be indicated as less, rather than more. The robust Oyster bracelet was designed for comfort and practicality. Made from durable stainless steel, the Oyster bracelet on this particular model features the ingenious ‘Glidelock’ system, enabling the bracelet to be finely adjusted without any tools. Fastened by the secure ‘Oysterlock’ clasp, preventing accidental opening. Powered by the Swiss certified chronometer (COSC) 3130 self-winding mechanical movement and fitted with a shock and temperature resistant Parachrom
