- This beautiful deciduous shrub has been grown in our gardens for over a century, &, as the largest spiraea, is ideal for the back of a border. In early summer it puts on a lavish display of crowded clusters of pure white flowers. The foliage turns a conspicuous shade of violet in autumn. Height 1.8m. Be tempted! There is always a space where you could plant a shrub. Unlike herbaceous perennials, which die back to the ground each winter, they provide a permanent 3-dimensional structure, forming a backdrop to their more ephemeral neighbours. Some shrubs are easy to grow or provide particular interest. Some have an extended flowering season & others provide additional colour or structure at different times of the year. 3 bare root plants. - Commonly known as the Autumn Cherry (because it starts to bloom in autumn) or Rosebud Cherry (because of its dark pink buds), this magnificent variety produces a small spreading, deciduous tree that is ideal for the smallest garden. it carries bell-shaped, semi-double white flowers from autumn to spring, during mild spells, sometimes followed by bitter little fruits which the birds love! - An open, spreading tree with dark green, pinnate leaves that turn a rich russet/gold in autumn. In spring the tree is covered in clusters of pink or white flowers, which are followed by large white berries that last well into winter. The perfect tree choice for a small garden.
