Safeguarding Children & Young People Course
In its simplest terms ‘safeguarding’ can be defined as ‘keeping children safe from harm, such as illness, abuse or injury’ & it is crucial that those working in any capacity with children are able to ensure that they are protected from such harm.
The Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding Children & Young People aims to enable learners to understand what is meant by safeguarding & the different ways in which children & young people can be harmed (including by other children & young people & through the Internet). It aims to develop the skills & knowledge needed to safeguard the welfare of children & young people & will be a valuable programme for anyone who has regular contact with children as part of their job role.
The qualification is ideal for learners who work in an environment where there is direct contact with children. This
