Children & Young People's Workforce Theory Course Our Children & Young People’s Workforce (Early Years) Level 3 Award course is the theory only element of the full Children & Young People’s Workforce (Early Years) Diploma QCF Level 3 Diploma (QRN: 500/8979/1/ELC) & is ideal for those learners who may not yet have a placement in a child care setting but wish to get started on the course. This course has been mapped to the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) & will allow learners to achieve a level 3 NCFE Award Certificate on completion plus a full list of completed course units & assessment criteria mapped to the NCFE Level 3 Diploma for Children CYPW. The CYPW Diploma has become the new childcare qualification for all practitioners in the workforce (early years) which shows employers that you have the required occupational competence in early years & home based settings. This award is suitable for anyone who works with children in settings such as: nurseries, pre-schools, reception classes in primary schools, crèches, children’s centre staff & childminders etc. This award is suitable for learners who have no previous experience of working with children & young people, & is designed to help learners build the knowledge & skills needed when working (supervised or un-supervised) with children & young people from birth to 19 years.
