Penarth Dock in 1915 in a fascinating series of reproductions of old Ordnance Survey plans in the Alan Godfrey Editions, ideal for anyone interested in the history of their neighbourhood or family. The map covers the northern part of Penarth, dominated by the large Penarth Dock which is shown in detail with railway lines, basin, staithes, etc. Other features include St Augustine`s church, Penarth Hotel, Northcliff, Cogan, Barry Railway & Taff Vale Railway stations, Cogan Junction, Ely Tidal Harbour, Victoria Wharf, Penarth Flats, Windsor Slipway, etc. A small portion of Cardiff`s Queen Alexandra Dock is in the top right corner. On the reverse is a Penarth directory, entries L to Z.
