Excellent satellite imagery provides a vivid picture of each island’s terrain, with additional contour lines at 250m intervals, spot heights & plenty of names of topographic features. The maps also show permanent & seasonal research stations; Antarctic Special Protected Areas (APSAs) & Historic Sites & Monuments (HSMs) are marked & listed with their Antarctic Treaty numbers.
