Michelin’s street plan of Rome at 1:10, 500 is primarily designed to be used for access to & travel across the city by car, given its coverage of the outer suburbs & very detailed presentation of the road network & its main junctions. This very large map presents the city’s road network with the usual care associated with Michelin’s road maps: detailed layout of motorway or dual carriageway junctions, tunnels, etc. Main traffic arteries leading to the city centre are highlighted, the restricted entry zone is clearly marked, & one way streets are indicated. The plan shows rail & metro lines with names of stations, with an additional diagram of the network included in the index booklet. Public buildings & facilities such as museums, theatres, historical monuments, churches, etc., are highlighted & named. The map has no separate enlargement for the city’s historic centre. The index is in a separate booklet attached to the map cover. Map legend
