All the trails on a map have been biked & rated in five difficulty levels for up- & downhill separately by specially trained authors. This consistent rating facilitates tour planning & spares a user from getting into sketchy situations on the trails. In addition to the difficulty rating, extraordinary nice trails are marked with a «highlight»-pictogram. The maps in a scale of 1:50 000 show all information required for tour planning & orienting oneself on the trails, such as: difficulty, highlight-trails, mountain railways with mountain bike transport, mountain bike shuttles, dangerous falls, restaurants, bike shops, emergency numbers & touristic infopoints. Thanks to the especially chosen map section, one map covers the whole area. The Supertrail Maps are printed on tear- & waterproof foil which makes them very sturdy. Finalese area of the Italian Alps presented at 1:25, 000 in a series of large, contoured & GPS compatible walking maps from Fraternali Editore, printed on light, waterproof & tear-resistant synthetic paper. Maps in this series have topography shown by contour lines at 5m intervals with relief shading, spot heights, & colouring and/or graphics for woodlands, glaciers, marshl&, etc. On waymarked footpaths the maps show official route numbers or initials of long-distance trails such as the GTA (Grande Travesata delle Alpi). Other local paths are also marked & the overprint shows Via Ferrata climbing sections, climbing sites, & selected ski touring routes. Road network is finely graded to indicate both unsurfaced roads & country tracks. Railway lines are shown with stations. Topographic coverage of mainland Spain at 1:25, 000 published by the Centro Nacional de Información Geograficá, the country’s civilian survey organization. The maps have contours at 10m intervals & colouring and/or graphics to show different types of vegetation or land use. Boundaries of national parks & other protected areas are marked. In addition to all the usual information shown on topographic maps at this scale, detailed presentation of the road & rail networks, rural tracks & paths, etc, the maps also show campsites. The maps have a 1-km UTM grid, with margin ticks for latitude & longitude at 1` intervals. Map legend is in Spanish only.PLEASE NOTE: our grid for the whole of Spain is in preparation

CNIG maps in the Provincial Road Maps series at 1:200, 000 are overprinted with the grid for the 1:50, 000 survey & can be used to see the area covered by each 50K or 25K title in more detail. Other features include Castlecroft, Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal. The Oxley Jct to Kingswinford Jct railway is shown as `under construction`. Finchley & Holders Hill in 1895 in a fascinating series of reproductions of old Ordnance Survey plans in the Alan Godfrey Editions, ideal for anyone interested in the history of their neighbourhood or family. The map covers the north-western area of Finchley, running from St Mary`s church & Regents Park Road westward, & with Holders Hill Road & the Dollis Brook running down the centre of the map; northward the map stretches to Mill Hill station on the GNR Edgware branch (today`s Mill Hill East). Further west the map is entirely rural. On the reverse is more than half of the next edition, from 1912, & this shows how north-west Finchley had developed in those years. Streets include Hendon Lane, Hendon Avenue, Dollis Avenue, Gordon Road, Church Crescent, Dollis Road & others.
