The Strangler Bar utilises oversize 25.4mm tubing near the clamping area to make it outlast anything you can throw at it. The increased 25.4mm diameter tube where the stem clamps the bar allows the bar to be clamped much more securely than the traditional 22.2mm tubing found on most bars & stems. The Strangler bar combines the bigger 25.4mm clamping area with a matching 25.4mm griptube that then tapers back to a regular 22.2mm tube further up the bar. PLEASE NOTE: This handlebar must be used with a 25.4mm bore stem (check out Eclats Slattery 25.4mm stem) & will not be compatible with a traditional 22.2mm stem. Eclat's Strangler Bars are their first 4-piece design that was meticulously worked on to remove all the annoying issues that 4-piece bars have notoriously suffered from. The Strangler Bar utilises multiple butted tubing throughout to give these bars a strong build while shaving off weight where possible. Being oversized these Strangler bars have a 25.4mm diameter tube where the stem clamps, this increased size over the traditional 22.2mm clamp helps taller bars stay locked in place in the stem.
