Spawned from his signature pedal, Alex Kennedy's signature AK Guard takes the same nylon construction used in his pedal & utilises it for a full guard that's buttery smooth on ledges. Built from CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminium the AK Sprocket is tough as hell, with 8mm in thickness it's rigid & incredibly durable. The 10mm thick guard is completely replaceable & secures to the sprocket via 4 small bolts. The design of the AK Guard is unique as the guard is sunken into the structure of the sprocket to give it full support & eliminate the strain from the bolts. The AK pedal uses a full-bushing system, which allowed some space where a loose ball bearing would sit to enlarge the axle, making it very strong. Eclat have so much faith in the strength of the spindle that they offer a full lifetime warranty against the spindle breaking or bending under riding conditions, & will offer a full replacemnet spindle should you do so. The AK pedal uses a fully replaceable Nylon/ Fibreglass pedal body with a large platform to give your foot ample room. What makes the AK pedal special is that the replaceable body is universal & fits left or right side, so if after time you have grinded down one side of your pedal; simply switch it for the other pedal & you’re good to go again section Product Specs TYPE/FITS: 9/16
