The Alex Kennedy signature AK Guard received a lot of attention when Eclat debuted it at Interbike back in September. A concept that was spawned from his signature pedal; Eclat wanted to take the robust nylon construction of the AK pedal & apply it to a full guard sprocket. The end result is a 8mm thick full CNC 6061-T6 Alloy sprocket with a fully replaceable 10mm thick Nylon-Fibreglass guard that is then bolted securely on to the sprocket via x 4 small bolts. The high-impact, low-friction material of the guard means that you can grind & slide on the sprocket in ways that a standard alloy guard wouldn’t let you – this also opens up the possibility of a whole new world of grind combinations. section Product Specs TYPE: Bolt On

The AK pedal uses a full-bushing system, which allowed some space where a loose ball bearing would sit to enlarge the axle, making it very strong. Eclat have so much faith in the strength of the spindle that they offer a full lifetime warranty against the spindle breaking or bending under riding conditions, & will offer a full replacemnet spindle should you do so. The AK pedal uses a fully replaceable Nylon/ Fibreglass pedal body with a large platform to give your foot ample room. What makes the AK pedal special is that the replaceable body is universal & fits left or right side, so if after time you have grinded down one side of your pedal; simply switch it for the other pedal & you’re good to go again section Product Specs TYPE/FITS: 9/16
