Bi-Directional taper: The tip is still wider but closer in width to the tail. Lets the ski perform exceptionally well skiing forward, but the taper enables the skier to have similar switch arc for better & more consistent switch riding. Triaxial braiding: Interlocks strands of fibreglass around a milled wood core. Makes skis incredibly energetic & responsive, yet easy to use. Bio Flex 3 core: Uses a combination of 80% Aspen/20% Paulownia for increased performance, strength & durability.ABSorb Twin Tech sidewall: Twin Tip specific construction process that increases the durability of sidewall skis by rolling the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse. ABSorb tech sandwiches a urethane layer in between ABS to absorb shock & lessen the impact of harsh landings. Urethane is used underfoot, while ABS is used toward the tip & tail. Tip/ Tail hardware: Tip & tail rivets developed for additional protection, reinforcing the tip & tail of the ski against delamination. Centre can be screwed out to allow you to attach a pre-cut climbing skin.
