A new shifter design improves long distance comfort, & stopping power is enhanced thanks to sleek dual-pivot caliper brakes. Ultegra R8000 is the perfect match for the much enhanced R872 frame. The frame has been made stiffer in key areas, such as the bottom bracket & chainstays for optimised power transfer, but we have also made it more comfortable by changing the seatpost to a 27.2mm diameter which offers a little more flex.
