Ribble - Evo Pro
The Evo Pro 2017 is a pioneering hero within the Ribble road bike range. It set the trend as one of the first lightweight, sub-1000, full carbon road bikes and fine-tuned over the years, this fantastic bike remains a perfect choice for many happy customers. The Evo Pro is responsible for introducing literally thousands of Ribble customers to the joys of road riding and it remains popular with new, returning and experienced cyclists alike. Our unrelenting innovation and refinement is evident in the Evo Pro 2017 a new, updated and more aero carbon frame ensures no loss of power transmission when you are riding or racing. Important details have been refined including the curved and aerodynamically bladed fork which increases comfort and reduces rider fatigue by making things easier on
the wrists and arms. For 2017 we have also introduced a cool, updated Evo Pro livery. Wherever you ride, it remains an ideal bike for all types of road riding, sportives and even a triathlon or two. Road racing bikes all had horizontal top tubes until Briton Mike Burrows became the first designer to incorporate the sloping top tubes of mountain bikes into road bike design in the 1990s. The Ribble Evo Pro was quick to go down Burrows then radical route of using compact frame geometry where the length of each tube is minimised increasing strength and reducing weight. The strong main triangle provides the foundation for the Evo Pro's efficiency and, along with the compact rear triangle, allows every watt of pedal-power to be transferred into rear wheel drive. Built in high quality carbon
fibre, the Evo Pro 2017 is very lightweight, yet tough enough to cope with years of sustained riding. Its durability and sublime riding characteristics have helped earn the Evo Pro its well-deserved reputation. We feel very proud when we say that the Evo Pro has become a British classic more than capable of putting more expensive bikes from other brands in the shade.
