- Tektronix 2-SOURCE, Additional functionality can be added to your Series 2 Oscilloscope by purchasing functionality upgrades. This Tektronix 2-SOURCE upgrade, adds the 50 M Hz Arbitrary Function Generator (AFG) to your device, perfect for simulating sensor signals within a design or adding noise to signals to perform margin testing. The AFG output is multiplexed with the Aux out signal. Several predefined waveforms including sine, square, pulse, ramp/triangle, DC, noise, sin (x)/x (Sinc), gaussian, lorentz, exponential rise/fall, Haversine, & cardiac are included.
