The accuracy is guaranteed for life, due to advanced electronics. This thermometer weighs only 45 grams, including battery, and features a clear, easy-to-read LCD display with an open circuit "Error" and low battery indication. The auto-power facility turns the instrument off automatically after 10 minutes, so maximising battery life. The high impact ABS plastic case includes the Biomaster additive that reduces bacterial growth and makes these thermometers ideal for day-to-day food and catering applications. With the addition of a protective silicone boot (available as Rapid part 85-3196), the thermometer becomes
