Adafruit Small Form Factor Development Boards ATmega 328 MCU
- Adafruit 2010, The Pro Trinket uses the ATmega 328 common-core chip to give a microcontroller similar to the Arduino Pro Mini but with USB (Universal Serial Bus) & more pins. The Trinket is designed with 18x GPIO pins, 2x extra analog inputs, 28K of FLASH & 2K of RAM. There is onboard USB (Universal Serial Bus) bootloading support (via a micro USB (Universal Serial Bus) jack) & Optiboot support enable programming over USB (Universal Serial Bus) or with a FTDI cable. This 3.3V version operates at 12 M Hz & is Arduino compatible, working with 99% of existing Arduino sketches. There is no serial to USB (Universal Serial Bus) chip & the USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection is for uploading new code only. The Trinket is programmable using the AVRdude and/or the Arduino IDE, & there is a reset button for entering the bootloader or restarting the program as well as LED indication for bootloading.
