Adafruit Power Boost 5V USB (Universal Serial Bus) Boost 1000m A from 1.8V+
- Adafruit 2030, The Adafruit Power Boost 1000 is a great power supply for your next portable project. Starting from a 1.8V (or higher) battery, it will produce a steady 5.2V output giving you headroom for cable resistance, high inrush currents or maybe a protection diode. Its internal 4A boost converter will supply more than 1A from sources down to 2V & up to 2A from a 3.7V Li Po or Li-ion battery. The TPS61030 chip at the heart of the Power Boost comes with some useful extra features such as an enable pin which can turn the voltage output off, low battery indication, support for iPhone / iPod 1A charging, & a greater than 90% conversion efficiency. Supplied fully assembled plus a USB (Universal Serial Bus) A socket (host socket), 1 x 2-pin screw terminal block, 1 x 2-pin JST socket. Choose which of these to solder to the Power Boost: USB (Universal Serial Bus) to supply a USB (Universal Serial Bus) peripheral; JST for up to 2A output current; terminal block above 2A or, if you prefer it, simply wire directly to the board for a lower profile solution (22AWG recommended).
