- Brainboxes ED-549, Ideal for all kinds of industry standard sensors & transducers. The ED-549 has 8 analogue Inputs + RS485 expansion port. It is suitable for high-precision measurements of voltages & currents. Most parameters in the real world are measured using sensors with analogue output sensors & Brainboxes ED-549 takes these real world signals & turns them into data on your network. As well as the popular 0 to 10V & 4 to 20m A input devices, there is now a Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) allowing full scale signals as small as ±75m V to be resolved to 12-bit accuracy across 8 analogue inputs. Each channel is individually configurable for voltage or current input with its own programmable gain. Brainboxes supply a suite of APIs & sample code to communicate with the device using Microsoft. NET framework Visual Basic, C, C++, Java, Javascript, PHP & more. The device can be configured & secured from a web browser & can be installed as a COM port on a Windows PC to give complete backwards compatibility essential for legacy applications.
