- Blueberry Pi Multi Control, The Blueberry Io T Controller for the Raspberry Pi is a versatile device designed to interact with the real world by reading sensors, controlling electrical equipment & using popular communication channels. It is supported by a range of other devices which can turn your Raspberry Pi into the nerve centre of a simple or complex monitoring & control system. Control gates, garage doors, air-conditioning, irrigation systems & much more. Use the power & connectivity of the Pi or the on-board GSM to control your system from anywhere in the world or receive reports & alerts via email or text (SMS). On the control side the board offers 1 x 16A & 2 x 10A relays which are optically isolated to protect your Pi. On the sensor side it supports a 1-wire interface for DS18B20 temperature sensors, I2C bus (3.3 & 5V), plus GPIOs from the Raspberry Pi for add-on sensors. For communications, the Pi can connect to Wi-Fi using its own dongle in the usual way, or it can make use of the Io T controller's built-in SIM900 GSM module (requires SIM), plus an 868 M Hz transmitter/receiver module to communicate with remote sensors. The Blueberry Io T controller is designed with practical applications & conditions in mind. It has an on-board power supply (PSU) which converts mains 100 to 240V AC to the 5V DC required by the Pi, no need for a USB (Universal Serial Bus) power supply. The 5V DC is protected from brown-outs by a super-capacitor. The PSU also provides 3.3V DC. The controller also features a real-time clock (RTC) with battery back-up & a header for up to 5 x membrane switches & 5 x LEDs.
