A perfect example of the alchemy of chutney making at its finest. We slowly & very gently cook down ripe figs & sharp apples in dark brown sugar & mellow Modena balsamic vinegar, spiced with cinnamon. The result is a chutney that showcases the jammy, sweet uniqueness of figs. The perfect accompaniment to many cold meats & cheeses, although our particular favourites are Parma ham & a sharp Lancashire cheese.
