How to take an enema: You will need: 1. Gravity feed enema kit (see diagram) 2. Two pints of enema fluid. 3. Lubrication of some description! 4. Sterilisation tablets of powder. 5. Time! 6. Some form of relaxation/entertainment if desired. Firstly hang enema bag at above door handle level. Boil up at least two pints of enema fluid (purified, mineral or distilled water should only be used), then leave to simmer for 5-20 minutes depending on type. Filter or infuse the fluid if herbs or coffee are used, so no bits in solution. Make sure the fluid is of room or body temperature by either allowing it to cool or adding further water. Lubricate the tip of the enema tube or catheter (which is a small, thin tube easily attachable to the enema tip, allowing liquid to enter further into the bowel) & whilst lying on your left hand side insert into the rectum & release the tube lock. If the liquid ceases to flow: 1. Check the tube lock! 2. Check the enema bag is not too high or low 3. Massage any blocked or impacted faecal areas 4. Remove the tip or catheter, wash out any blockages, sterilise & re-insert. Once you have successfully taken in the liquid, remove all tubing & place in sterilising solution. Inability to retain the enema fluid displays your bodys basic need for it. Let it go & try again. One should ideally be able to retain the fluid for at least ten minutes. Initially this may not be the case as the urge to release becomes too strong. The more ones bowel tone increases the easier it will become. Now, once full of fluid try & bring yourself into a shoulder stand; use a Tip-U-Up slant board or rest your feet as far up the wall as possible. This allows the liquid to flow up the descending colon, doing certain breathing techniques, leg exercises and/or massage if desired. When you feel youve had enough up there, gently lower yourself down and lay on your right hand side this will enable fluid to make its way across the transverse colon. Again, certain breathing techniques & massage can help especially in weak or blocked areas. Now lay yourself on your back. These last two positions are a good opportunity just to relax & breathe the tension out of the shoulders. All that remains for you to do is to wait for the urge & then sit yourself on the toilet for a while. If after 15-20 minutes you have still not felt the urge to release, relax - you will. Just be patient & maybe run a hot bath. Sometimes sodium levels can be so high that the body will try & hold on to as much fluid as possible. Hence the ultimate importance of water consumption & desirable dietary habits. (Excess salt & toxicity often causes water to be held within the cells in order to dilute the negativity
- with the use of diet, enemas & general cleansing methods, allows the cells to unlock, thus release such negativity). Please acknowledge that enemas and/or colonics are not to be used merely to remove lasts nights over indulgence. Enemas play an important role in the process of purification, they are an effective means of symptomatic release and relief during heavy periods of detoxification. If consistently abused the bowel will become weak.   The Enema Kit: A The ENEMA/DOUCHE BAG: A strong, collapsible, 2 litre capacity plastic bag with a reinforced top for mounting on a wall hook. It is easily cleaned inside. B Tube Lock C Vaginal Nozzle D Rectal Nozzle E Enema Tube A useful addition for implanting the enema fluid higher up in the colon is a soft, flexible 14 inch catheter (not in diagram), with two laterally positioned end holes (rather than a single one in the end that can get blocked up). It fits slipping over the standard rectal nozzle, also making insertion smoother & easier.

The acupuncture points are the doorway of the Body, Mind & Spirit. Ancient practitioners gave each of these points up to twenty-four different names. These names go beyond mere descriptions of the points. They lend their original perspective to modern understanding by illuminating the world-view from which acupuncture was produced. The study of these names, therefore, constitutes one of the most important ways to understand; not only the acupuncture points, but acupuncture itself. Energetic Physiology in the Acupuncture Pointnames is an in-depth study of all 894 pointnames of the 361 points on the Main Meridians of acupuncture. These names describe the actions, effects & spirit of the acupuncture points through symbols derived from various aspects of early Chinese culture including: the Chinese characters, philosophy, religion, mythology, alchemy, astrology, architecture, fengshui, sexology, political structure & city planning. All of these symbols are here tied together with the energetics of the point to produce a rich & unified picture of each point's meaning & how it can be used. This book is 511 pages long & is well illustrated with over 125 drawings & diagrams & bound for convenient study & clinical use. ...
