Chromium Complex is a one-a-day formula that provides relevant levels of those nutrients used by the body to help maintain normal blood glucose levels, Including a full 200g of the trace mineral chromium. This is an essential nutrient that is depleted from foods by processing & refining & diets low in whole grain cereals may provide inadequate levels of this essential trace mineral. Chromium helps the body to use insulin & is therefore involved in the processes that maintain normal blood glucose levels. The importance of this mineral has recently been officially recognised by it being given a Recommended Daily Amount (RDA), although at just 40mcg, this is below the level often recommended by Nutritionists.
