Over the counter homeopathic preparations are generally available in two strengths: 6c & 30c.6c Potencies In most self-help cases 6c should be selected. 6c is useful when conditions are mainly physical, such as coughs & colds, or when the condition progresses at a slow pace.30c Potencies 30c is selected when the condition is very active (acute) and/or when there is an emotional element to the condition, such as occasional sleeplessness. 30c remedies should be taken as a short course only, unless prescribed by a practitioner. Tablets shouldnt be touched & should be taken in a clean mouth. The remedies are intended for self-limiting, minor conditions. If they are required for long periods of time or for chronic conditions, professional advice should always be sought.
