She kneels before him & Christ urges her not to touch him, saying ' Noli me tangere'. This is a pinnacle panel from an altarpiece by a Florentine master in the 1370s, named after another pinnacle from the same altarpiece in the Lehman Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
