The Stuart 10H is a development from the popular 10V Engine. It is more than capable of 'doing work' & can easily power a small dynamo or pump. This small horizontal engine offers both power when run at high speed & visual interest when operated at slow crankshaft speeds. To assist the beginner the book Building a Vertical Steam Engine. is available. It describes in detail the machining of all the components, & is full of advice for the more challenging operations. Please remember our sets of castings require the use of a lathe & milling machine to turn them into a working steam engine.
