Some aircraft create an image around them that defines exactly what they are about. The ST Model Fox does exactly that & shouts 'aerobatics' from every angle. It is no surprise to know that the full size is one of the most aerobatic gliders in the world & this ST Model version is proud to bring that capability to you. Like all ST Model aircraft, the Fox is moulded in tough EPO foam & finished to a very high standard. From opening the box to having a model ready to fly can take a s little as 15 minutes & probably even less. The longest job is applying the decals! Just a couple of screws see the wings attached onto the carbon main spar, & as the servos & hinging is all done at the factory, that's it. One screw has the tailplane attached in a few seconds & then it is down to applying the decals & installing your receiver. This version of the Fox is suitable for both slope soaring & aero-towing. Because of the low wing loading, the Fox will stay up on the slope in minimal wind. Add a little ballast & she will cope with winds up to about 20mph, thanks to the responsive controls. If you don't have a slope handy, why not have a go at aero-towing? The Fox already has a nose towing release pre-fitted & a servo to operate it. She is very stable in the tow & can be pulled by quite a small model. Even the ST Models Cessna is suitable if you install a tow hook, as is the new Cessna 350. We have towed her with a 40 powered trainer with no problems. The tow release can be operated by the throttle stick so using the supplied 2.4g Hz AFHSS 4 channel radio system. All you need to do is fit a receiver battery (4 cell nimh square) of your choice.
