With a gross registered tonnage of 8378 the ship has one great advantage over conventional luxury liners: where the ´fat ships´ have to stop or make a detour, the ´MS Hanseatic´ simply carries on: in Arctic & Antarctic waters, & even South American rivers such as the Amazon, the Rio Negro or the Orinoko. The boat is powered by a direct-drive, i.e. non-geared system, in the form of two high-torque Power 755/40 electric motors. These are low-revving power plants driving a pair of high-performance marine propellers. Fixed Kort nozzles increase thrust, & the boat is capable of carrying out extremely arduous towing tasks & complex manoeuvres in conjunction with the bow thruster, which is an optional accessory. Radio-controlled model sports boat Katja is our model of an elegant four-seater sports boat with inboard motor, & it has turned out to be hugely successful. The model essentially consists of seven plastic parts. The deck & cabin are moulded in one piece in clear plastic, which eliminates the complex task of cutting out & installing the glazing panels. The robbe Katja can be operated free-running or with radio control. In its simplest form the rudder is set for a fixed radius of turn. Competition version of this fast Off-shore racing boat The Magin One has been a racing boat in the robbe model boat product range for over eight years. This model has been very successful in Mono-racing boat competitions for several seasons, particularly in the S 14/S 12/MS 2 basic class, During this year some modifications to the original model were developed & tested. The result of this reworking is the Magin One Black Race Edition. In order to increase the top speed to around 70 kph we modified the base of the hull, the drive train & the rudder system, as well as the steering fin. Unlike the "old" Magin the Race Edition has its entire drive train without the E-motor in the set contents. So the future pilot of the Magin One Black has three engine options, all based on the recommended lithium polymer battery with 4S with minimum 4400m Ah:
- Standard 700 size brush motor, which can run the Magin One Black at around 60kph in racing boat class S14/S12/MS2basic- brushless Roxxy 3656/06, to reach almost 70km/h with extended running time.
