With the operating frequency changing every two milliseconds, the 2.4 G Hz FASST system is virtually invulnerable to interference, unlike other less advanced systems that operate on one or two fixed frequencies. Dual antenna diversity selects the best signal from the two receiver aerials, so there is a solid RF link, no matter what the attitude of the model. The tiny R606FS receiver weights only 9.8g (7g without case), but is a full range receiver that works every bit as well in normal or giant scale models, allowing simple swaps between models. Unlike other systems, there is no separate aerial module that has to be installed, increasing weight & taking up more space. Futaba 8ch Rx 2.4 G Hz FASST (FS/HS Mode) (P-R6008HS/2-4G) This 8-channel receiver from Futaba differs from all previous receivers because it can run on 2 modes. Theres Normal Mode", where the receiver works like all previous Futaba 2.4 GHz receivers, but theres also a High Speed setting, with high resolution for the demanding modeller. Normal Mode accepts any type of servos or peripherals, as the output frame rate is 14ms.
