Tithe Barn is super retreat located within the Owlpen Barn. Although an apartment, the property has a spacious feel owing to the very high ceilings & the general open plan layout. Internally this cosy retreat has a lovely rustic charm with huge oak beams crossing the living space. It is a character split-level studio apartment set in the last bay of Owlpen's listed Barn, converted above the coach house in about 1700. With massive oak cruck beams & principal trusses, which date it to the 1450s, it has been completely renovated to the same standard & quality of Owlpen's larger cottages of this historic manor estate. Day-to-day provisions are available in Uley which is only half a mile away where there is a Post Office/village shop, one pub, a brewery & an arts centre. ACCOMMODATION: The light & spacious open plan studio has comfortable sitting room area at one side, & a double bed with wardrobe. Two steps lead up to the Kitchen/dining area with television & DVD player & Bathroom beyond. Sunken bath with overhead shower. The Tudor manor of Owlpen (1450-1616) today stands in delightful gardens with magnificent yews set at the centre of a clutch of medieval & traditional buildings, many now converted as quite exceptional Cotswold holiday cottages. The location & surroundings are amongst the best, not just in the Cotswolds but in England
- steeped in history of a thousand years & full of romance & charm. We are sure you will love it here!

Spaciously arranged across three flooors, this historic & characterful cottage is an ideal base for exploring this & other popular Cotswolds towns/villages. According to local history this cottage was reserved for the town's ' Toll Collector' hundreds of years ago when the town was the centre for the region's wool & farming trade. In fact we are told the cottage contains the oldest window in Moreton!! Although much has changed, the wonky floors, flagstone floors downstairs and inglenook fireplace all give this home a very special charm. There are three bedrooms spread across the three floors (via steepish stairs). This cottage is suitable for families, friends or couples as it combines a central location with easy access to the shops & pubs in Moreton

Top Barn, so called because of it's 'top of the hill' location (!!), unsurprisingly delivers quite spectacular views across the northern Cotswolds. With grazing cattle often roaming the field in front completing the perfect English picture, this delightful & quirky barn conversion is an excellent retreat for families who fancy something a little different. The owners (who have two other excellent cottages) have untaken a labour of love to convert the old cart shed into a spacious holiday cottage presented in a 'reverse living' style, with the living spaces upstairs & bedrooms down - thank goodness they did as the views are amazing. The bedrooms are pretty & comfortable, the living space very well appointed
- together the house is very much a 'home from home' and one we certainly enjoyed on our visit. If you're the lucky ones in the master bedroom then you've got the view up the valley that is likely to keep you in bed for a good while!!ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to hallway with stairs leading upstairs to living space. Bedroom One, with king size double bed, view towards countryside, wardrobe & chest of drawers Bedroom Two with two single beds, wardrobe & chest of drawers Family Bathroom with super walk in shower, bath, WC & washbasin Utility Room with washing machine/dryer Upstairs A large, open plan living space with superb views. This can be accessed from the master bedroom or there is a small gate to the side, alternatively. Sorry no pet/no smokers. Trillgate Cottage is a special grade II listed Tudor house set within 2 acres of private Cotswolds' land that affords guests the chance to sample a true home in every sense with cosiness very much at the heart of its unique appeal. Set overlooking the Slad Valley, (where Cider with Rosie was set!) the property has an abundance of light & character with it's large stone mullion windows, flagstone & wooden floors, inglenook fireplaces & beamed ceilings. The house itself sits in 2 acres of it's own land mainly laid to lawn with well stocked borders & a pretty orchard with apple, pear, walnut, plum & sweet chestnut trees.
