The village sits on the northern side of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with the River Cherwell and Oxford Canal both meandering through the edge of the village and just moments from this holiday cottage. The meadows at the river are absolutely perfect for evening 'sun-downers'. There are many walks to choose from, right from your door. The very famous and very popular Bicester Shopping Outlet Centre (or Bicester Village as it is called) is 10 mins away if shopping is your thing. There are a variety of good pubs in the locality, but none in the village. Of particular note is The Falkland Arms in Great Tew, one of the prettiest
spots imaginable.
