The Mountfield 2243H-SD has a 108cm cutting width, plenty of premium features & user-friendly hydrostatic drive transmission. Fitted with a premium Briggs & Stratton Intek engine which reliable 656cc v-twin design delivers superior performance & consistent power whilst powering the tractor over varying terrain.   The side discharge tractors are a practical choice for areas such as meadows, orchards as well as large gardens. The grass cuttings are neatly deposited in lines to the side of the tractor & left to decompose naturally. The 2243H-SD is designed for demanding use with a 108cm reinforced cutting deck & a cast iron front axle. The garden tractor uses 2 untimed cutter blades, premium pulleys & a Kevlar reinforced belt. There are 3 anti-scalp wheels to protect the grass by helping the deck ‘float’ down dips & up slopes without contact to the ground.   The blades are optimised for side discharge grass cutting & leave a quality cut to grass in varying conditions. The cutting heights are easily adjusted & offer 7 settings ranging from 30
