Set your flight path to go straight to this Peterborough flying school if you've ever fancied learning to fly in the East of England! These flying lessons all take off from Sibson Airport a small & friendly aerodrome just west of Peterborough that's ready to welcome you to the world of General Aviation. It might seem as though this airfield tucked in amongst agricultural land & farms is a sleepy little old aerodrome but far from it. This Peterborough flying school is actually a fully CAA approved training organisation
- which means you will be getting top-notch tuition in how to fly planes
- & not only do they run this flying school they also manage & run the aerodrome too. As for the aircraft used for these lessons at Sibson it's the classic Cessna 152 for the two seater flights & the Piper PA28 for the four seater experiences. Both well-known aircraft are rugged stable & forgiving in the air making them ideal training aeroplanes. And although you may just be having one...

Take your flying lessons at Swansea Airport & you will be getting airborne over some of the prettiest coastal countryside we've ever seen! Based out of the airport at Fairwood Common on the Gower Peninsula this small & very welcoming club is a great place to fly from. This fully licenced flying school offers a variety of lessons from Swansea. The club has a modern fleet of light planes including five two seater Piper PA 38 Tomahawks & a four seater Piper PA28 Cherokee & you have the choice of a 30 or 60 minute flight in either sort of aeroplane. Worth noting if you have a four seat voucher you can have up to two people to join you as passengers so you can invite those who bought the voucher to join you
- & they will absolutely love it. So where will you be flying on your lesson? Well from Swansea there is a myriad of flight paths possible. What we love about this club is that they'll take the time to discuss where you go before you're even in the plane & when asked most people immediately reply 'over my house' & then ' Caldey Island where I used to go as a child'. Routes also including Tenby Swansea Bay Mumbles & Llanelli can all be planned too depending on weather & your flight duration. Once you know where you're headed on your aerial sojourn from Swansea it's time for the flying lesson to get underway as you book out & then follow your pilot instructor to the aircraft sitting on the apron. If you've never been in a small plane before you might surprised to find you climb into the cockpit by stepping up on a special padded section of the wing next to the fuselage & the inside. When settled & strapped in to your seat your pilot will point out some of the most essential dials & gauges in front of you namely the vertical speed indicator the direction indicator & the turn & slip indicator. What always amazes us with flying is that although it is complicated & full of aeronautical theory when you are at cruising altitude it all feels very comfortable relaxed & even easy. Whether you sit back & relax & just enjoy the views or you actually fancy having a go at taking the controls you are sure to enjoy your first lesson in flying over Swansea. So if you want a fun experience with fantastic views that are truly second to none these flying lessons in Swansea are a great choice. You will enjoy an aerial voyage that leaves you informed & not bamboozled by the theories of flight with the chance to see some of the very best parts of the Welsh coastline from the air
- & maybe even your own home too!

Flying Lessons Snowdonia

Want amazing aerial views on your flying lesson? Then Snowdonia is the place to go! This friendly flying school is based at Llanbedr Airfield perched on the edge of the stunning Welsh coastline near Harlech. It's a great place to learn to fly. We are offering 45 and 60-minute trial lessons out of Llanbedr. Flights are operated in a rather lovely Robin DR400/180 aircraft. These are four-seater sport planes characterised by their distinctive low-wing shape standing out from the usual high-wing Cessna aircraft often used for flight training. It also makes them very stable in the air and easy to fly too. Pure joy over those Snowdonian peaks! What's more being four seater aircraft you can invite up to two guests to join you onboard your lesson subject to pilot approval. That means your flight
can be a real family affair which makes the whole experience all the more special when you get to share those views. And what you get to see from the air as you fly in your Robin over Snowdonia on your lesson is truly spectacular. This is a very picturesque corner of Wales and it really is best seen from the air. Snowdonia Wales's highest mountain might have a dusting of snow even in the warmer months which looks incredible from the air. You're also right next to the coast at Llanbedr Airfield and as soon as you take off you'll be treated to clifftop vistas towards the Llyn Peninsula with the white-topped waves lapping on golden sandy beaches. We think being surrounded by both beaches and mountains is pretty unique and a truly breathtaking backdrop for your lesson. Taking you out on this
aerial adventure will be chief instructors Stephen Richard or one of their dedicated team of pilots. During your flight you will have the chance to 'take the controls' to fly the plane. Last but by no means least there's the Jindivik Cafe to visit once you land. Based in the control tower of this former RAF airfield the cafe offers a top spotting point from the upstairs terrace a nice brew and tasty cooked breakfasts the staple of any flying school! We reckon these flying lessons in the wonderful Snowdonia region of Wales are a superb choice for budding flyers. A great plane space for your nearest and dearest brilliant views and top tuition too.
