We try hard to keep a closed mind when shown 'hot-sellers' in the USA, but this one was irresistible. It is, allegedly, how folk predict weather in Maine. (Where's that? Top right, almost Canada, we're told.) Tack it up outside, & it bends down when foul weather is approaching, then up again for fine. Some 38cm long & very much 'h&-crafted' it comes on a card full of Here's what other people say about their weathersticks" testimonials which are a joy in themselves. From Texas a 75-year-old writes to assure us it works even in the Deep South. What a wonderful present for all those people who have everything
- except a Woodman's Weatherstick!"
