White Lion

Magnificent feline, the lion is a symbol of strength & courage. It is the most powerful & largest carnivore in Africa. Recognizable by its long mane, the lion was baptized king of the animals. It has a long body with impressive muscles & powerful legs with claws. This large predator weighs almost 250 kg. He reigns over his territory & protects his clan made up of several females. It feeds on cattle & also hunts other animals such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras or warthogs. It can devour up to 30kg of meat at one time. The white lion is very rare in he wild, its fur giving it a definite disadvantage when it comes to hunting. Indeed, it makes it too visible to the eyes of its prey. It therefore lives mainly in nature reserves or zoological parks.
