Our scene shows a Farmer tending to his flock in the wonderful rolling hills of the British countryside. the Farmer isn't alone, as he's helped by his wife, who is bringing ewes & their young lambs back to the field, perhaps for the first time since their birth. & the faithful sheepdog sits waiting on the tractor, just in case he's needed. This lovely nostalgic scene depicts an idyllic summer's day in Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds. Families are enjoying a day out in the beautiful English countryside; either a "spin" in the car, a trip on the bus or packing everything up into the motorbike & sidecar. This lovely nostalgic scene captures a busy day outside the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh. This nostalgic painting by Kevin Walsh depicts London in the " Swinging sixties". We can see a snapshot of London life in Parliament Square, with Big Ben in the background. Some people are waiting for the Routemaster bus, but we reckon the "city gent" is going to hail the black cab close by.
