Inject new life into your garden at the start of each year with these breathtaking Hellebore Washfield Doubles. Intriguing colours patterns flecks & ruffles are a sheer delight during the cold months of Winter & early Spring while their leathery foliage has an evergreen presence all year round.
Plant these 30-45cm (12-18) apart. After firming the root ball should be about 2.5cm (1) below the surface of the soil. Each spring mulch around the plants with a thick mulch of well-rotted compost or leaf mould. Cut off all the leaves at ground level during Autumn so that the spring blooms can take centre stage & to also help the plant avoid Black Spot problems. Hellebores can be slow to establish & may take a year or two before the first flowers are produced plants also do not like to be moved.
