Wild Edric was a Saxon Lord from Shropshire who was said to have married a fairy Queen. He criticised her one day & she disappeared -legend has it that his ghost is still be to seen searching for her in the hills. Wild Edric starts as attractively pointed violet-pink buds that gradually open up to a semi-double flower of deep velvety-pink with shades of violet & mauve revealing a group of yellow stamens. Its fragrance is strong a combination on pure clove from the stamens & Old rose from the petals with hints of watercress & cucumber.
