Features: Experience being behind the wheel of a FV432 armoured personnel carrier Combat the obstacle course with open & closed hatches! With the help of supportive instructors, you will soon get to grips with this mean machine of 17 tons of military steel! Your experience will start with an introduction & safety briefing, giving you an overview of the tank & it's controls. After spending some time getting used to the tank you will be given your first test. Negotiating a tricky tank course set in a World War II bombing range. If your confidence is running high then you'll want to try it again but under more challenging conditions. Hatches down with only your periscope to guide you! With your peripheral vision gone, a sudden realisation of how hard this is gives the ultimate adrenaline rush. Are you up to the challenge? What You Need To Know: Your experience will last Approx. 1 hour. There will be up to 3 other participants in the tank. The minimum age is 16 years old. This experience is available on selected Sundays & Wednesdays, from April to October. This activity is weather dependent. The maximum height for participants is 1.93m (6ft 4"). The maximum weight is 139kg (22 stone). Please note that accessing the vehicles involves climbing into tight spaces.
