The beautiful step sister of the stunning Lamborghini Gallardo, the Audi R8 with a 4.2 litre V8 engine, & a top speed of 187mph might be half the price but with a waiting list that reads like a fantasy football team. This is the car that any self respecting Premiership player or city boy wants to be seen in. Clarkson described the R8 as one of the truly great cars & the only hesitation he has in awarding it the coveted five stars is that, ideally, he would like to give it six! Judge this amazing car for yourself & see what all the fuss is about as you slip behind the wheel of a motoring legend in the making. Typical Programme Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction & safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. You will then typically receive two demonstration laps with an instructor followed by three to four driving laps in an Audi R8. At most locations you will then be awarded an individual driving certificate as a memento of your experience. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day. The optional indemnity costs between £25
- £30 if purchased on the day. In the event of an accident the damage waiver will cover all or part of the damage caused to the vehicle (s) however this will not cover damage caused by reckless or negligent driving. Further details are available on booking. Duration & Group Size Your experience will last for approximatley 1 to 2 hours. The cars are shared between the drivers on the day. Fitness Requirements & Previous Experience Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4in) & minimum height 1.57m (5ft 2in). Max weight 102kg (16 stone).A full UK or European manual driving licence which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. (Please note for Silverstone you must have held a full driving licence for 3 years). Minimum Age The minimum age is 18 years old (please note Silverstone is 21).
