Includes:: take-off & landing Take to the sky for your first flying lesson at some of the friendliest flying clubs in the country. You can take the controls yourself & discover the absolute freedom of the sky! Your 45-minute flying lesson begins with a pre-flight briefing with your instructor. They will talk you through the effects of an aircraft's controls & what you will be doing during your first trial flying lesson. Then it's time to walk out to the aircraft where you will be taken on a "walk round" to see the main control surfaces of the aircraft. Your instructor will do the take-off, & will demonstrate some basic manoeuvres before it's your turn! Then, you can experience for yourself the sheer exhilaration of flying. What You Need To Know: Your flying lesson will last 45 minutes, but please allow 1½ hours at the venue. The Flying Lesson is available Monday to Sunday, all year round. Please remember that it is dependent upon weather conditions. It'll just be you & the instructor in the aeroplane but you're welcome to bring family & friends along to watch you take to the sky. You must be at least 16 years old (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). This experience day may not be suitable if you are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness, blackouts, high blood pressure, diabetes or heart conditions. Please contact the venue beforehand to discuss medical conditions. The maximum weight 92 to 108kg (14½ to 17stone) depending on the location.
