Snowboarding Session
Snowboarding was invented in the 1960s in the USA and has since grown in popularity all around the world. Considered to be one of the more difficult but ultimately thrilling extreme sports, snowboarding requires you to carve and meander your way down a slope while staying firmly strapped to your board. Experts are able to perform gravity-defying tricks and reach speeds of over 80mph! You may not be learning how to do this just yet, but these lessons are the best way enjoy snowboarding right here in the UK, no matter what your ability.Typical ProgrammeOn booking it's important you state your level of experience so that you can be put into the correct lesson to match your ability. You may be asked to arrive up to half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect
your equipment and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the artificial snow slopes! Depending on the location you choose the equipment provided may vary from boots, boards and bindings to boots, boards, hats and scarves.Duration & Group SizeYour session will last for approximately 1½ to 2 hours, but please allow extra time to get your kit.There'll be a maximum of 10 other people in your group. You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you take to the slopes.Fitness Requirements & Previous ExperienceYou will need to have general fitness to be able to participate in this activity. This activity is not suitable if you are pregnant, have a bad back or a heart condition.This experience is for all levels and abilities, however please
make it clear on booking what level you feel you are at.Minimum AgeTo participate in this activity you must be at least 17 years old.Locations & AvailabilityGreater Manchester - Manchester Staffordshire - TamworthThis experience is available on selected Monday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.Please note: This experience is dependent upon appropriate weather conditions.Expiry: The experience day gift pack voucher must be redeemed and used within the 12 month validity period.
