Now, thanks to our super cosy Headphone Bobble Hat, you can keep warm & listen to your tunes all at the same time. You probably fall into one of two distinct camps now. - or being bored on the bus. The good news is that with the Headphone Bobble Hat music & warmth are no longer interchangeable. Plus, its 3.5mm jack fits most smartphones & music players so you’ll be snug as a harmonious bug.

If you’ve happily downed shots, thrown balls into plastic cups & are the master when it comes to the ‘I have never’ questions then you might think you’re completely on it when it comes to drinking games. All of us Genie HQers were on the cocky side; we thought we knew it all. Then we were introduced to the Pint Bong! Forget the standard funnel approach or holding a straw in your bottle at the prescribed angle – the Pint Bong is quite a different beast & set to become your go to party staple. In simple terms (and this is a wonderfully simple game) the clever people behind the Pint Bong have taken a traditional pint glass & have added an extra glass tube at the bottom. You just need to connect the plastic straw (that arrives with you Pint Bong) & your nice bog-standard becomes your party piece. Whether you’re a lover of a wheat based beverage or prefer the freshness of apples, the Pint Bong promises to change the way you party. The only question is who is brave enough to take on the bong? ...

The Pixel Clock has to be the ultimate in oxymoronic clocks? An analogue clock in a digitized & pixelated design. For anyone to whom the pixel is king, this Pixel Clock rocks. For those who are even remotely interested, pixel means pixelated element. As opposed to the decidedly strange looking offspring of a Pixie & an Elf, which I can tell you is not a pretty sight, & would make a really lousy clock design
- even if it would get a lot of hits on You Tube. No pixies here, oh no, the Pixel Clock comes to you completely devoid of pixies & elves, though being as we think it's pretty magic, there's an outside chance it may have been made by pixies? I'm just putting that out there, there's no empirical evidence to speak of, but sometimes you have to wonder. Stephen Hawking recently announced that time is in fact square. It's something to do with multiple dimension fractals that split space-time into pixel stacks, which puts the Pixel Clock right at the forefront of quantum theory. Ok, no he didn't, but it's only a matter of time...

I don’t think we’ve ever seen our tech manager drool quite so profusely as when he first laid eyes on the Pixel Mouse. He actually leapt out of his seat. He doesn’t leap as a rule. He listens to crazily loud & fast music, hypnotised by the screen as his hands move like a blur over his keyboard. Little distracts him (with the exception of biltong). So when he leapt from his chair with eyes gleaming like a lion in a butchers shop we knew we were onto a winner with this awesome mouse. It’s not awesome because it does anything particularly clever, it’s an optical mouse, & a wired one at that, but in emulating the pointy hand on your screen, it scores 10/10. It has the usual left & right click, & a glowing scroll wheel, & quite simply the coolest design even to be applied to a mouse, ever, ever, ever. ...

Pizza. The food of gods & a weekend staple for most of us lazy cooks but hands up, who actually owns a pizza wheel. If you’re anything like us, then you’re probably hacking at your meat feast with a blunt kitchen knife – burning your hands in the process. Well you will be until you invest in Pizza Scissors, a seriously sensible bit of kitchen kit. Now we know this is a bold statement, but this cunning gadget is set to change your life. It will skilfully avoid Friday first degree burns all while ensuring that pizza enters the mouth at the optimum temperature rather than cold & floppy after the application of burns related first aid. Made from hardened stainless steel & measuring 12cm these blades will easily tackle the biggest of bases. Science can be pretty cool & the Plasma Ball is definitive proof of that. Standing at an intimidating 6”, the Plasma Ball isn’t the touchy feely type with it instantly displaying bolts of coloured light & electricity when it is touched. Quite the reaction. Although that may sound dangerous, rest assured that you won’t get an electric shock & that it is more than suitable to live in your child’s bedroom at all times. Ball of a time. ...
