It is critical that any tube bending operation begin with a straight tube. This will free you up to match the exact bends of your original without dealing with imperfections in your tube. Using a simple 5 wheel straightening method it prepares coils of tube to be bent & installed. It works on any thin wall annealed tube from 3/16” to 1/2″ including stainless steel. The wheels are adjusted by a large knob on the top of the tool. Once you dial in the correct size simply pull the tube through the tool to straighten. The alignment wheels are made from ABS plastic & contoured to the shape of the tube. This leaves your tube unmarked & ready to be formed. Finally a solution to straightening coils of brake tube. This tubing straightener easily straightens light wall tubing from 3/16 inch to 1/2 inch. The tool can be mounted in a vice or permanently mounted to a bench. All types of tubing can be used in this straightener, even stainless steel. Instructions: HOW TO STRAIGHTEN COILS Simply bend the end of your coiled tube & insert into either side of the tool. DOT approved & specifically formulated to retard copper corrosion in the braking system, Brake Shot prevents sticking calipers, ailing master cylinders, & other ABS braking troubles brought about by corrosion & high copper levels in the brake system. To ascertain if Brake Shot can cure a contaminated system, use Brake Strip (1 x Strip included) to determine the copper parts per million (ppm) in the brake fluid. Brake Strip is a 60-second brake fluid test that turns shades of violet according to the level of copper in the braking system. If the strip indicates a copper level of between 50-175ppm, simply add the contents of a one-ounce bottle of Brake Shot to the master cylinder. After 50-100 miles of driving, Brake Shot will re-energize the corrosion inhibitors to protect all the metals in the entire brake system & prevent further corrosion. If, however, the test strip indicates 200ppm or greater, the brake system requires flushing & the fluid replaced. “ Today most technicians know that corrosion in a brake system causes a wide range of problems.
