Don't confuse the Straight with the new breed of short playful powder boards; this is a proper snowboard for experienced riders who want something that they can push to the absolute limits. Let's not forget that this is the board that Gigi rode to victory in the Red Bull Ultranatural. Built around a powder focused directional shape with directional Cam Rock, Slash have pushed the stiffest part of the flex towards the tail so you can really drive this board into the turn & land those big powder jumps. As with the rest of the line it utilises the Ultimate Traction edges. These give additional bite points meaning that the board is more reassuring & carves with a lot less effort. Internally the lightweight Forever wood core is created from paulownia, spruce, beech & poplar & works in harmony with the super tech Reactive Flex structural layers (which flex the base across its width) to deliver the perfect riding characteristics. Now add the Carbon/ Kevlar Landing Strips which run from the tip & tail to the inserts & it's pretty obvious that the Straight is a pretty special responsive & powerful board that will dominate any terrain.
