POC's Pole Guard is a much-needed piece of kit to protect hands when slalom ski racing. Made from PE plastic it remains tough without becoming brittle even in the coldest of conditions, & the smooth outer surface minimises the friction caused when deflecting gates. The large coverage means plenty of protection, & they fix into position with three screws while a drill guide at the top enables them to be secured closer to the pole. They are designed to fit poles with a 16mm shaft, & the rubber shim supplied helps keep them firmly in place.
