Well, it's all change for the Flagship this season, with an all-new shape, all new technology & all new construction, Jones have in one fell swoop totally moved the goalposts when it comes to big mountain performance.

Aimed squarely at experienced riders the new Flagship has been built to deliver a combination of rock solid stability, unrivalled float & high-speed control giving you all the tools you need to really push the boundaries of freeride snowboarding.

Built around an all-new directional shape it utilises the new & revolutionary Spooned nose & tail profile. This full width 3D base profile adds a longer 7mm Spoon at the nose & a shorter 7mm at the tail. This gives the Flagship a whole new personality, turns become more fluid, lift at the front more effortless & straight-line stability even more reassuring; meaning that wherever & whatever you ride things just got a whole lot better.

In addition Jones has also redesigned the mellow Mange Traction sidecut to work in harmony with this new shape ensuring that no matter how hard you push you're always going to be able to rely on the board. In fact pretty much the only thing remaining from last season's board is the freeride Directional Rocker profile. This combination of longer rocker in the nose, setback camber under the feet & short rocker in the tail gives the perfect combination of powder performance with control & stability under the feet.

Internally it's pretty much all new as well. The redesigned Power Core combines triple density poplar with lightweight Paulownia & bamboo stringers creating a truly responsive & lively foundation that really does underpin the Flagships performance credentials. Also new for this year are the Tri-ax/ Flax structural layers. This combination of multi-axis stitched fibreglass & sustainable flax fibres gives the board a responsive torsional flex whilst also giving a smoother well damped ride.

But that's not all, also new is the Power V Basalt stringers. These pre-cured basalt strips transfer power from under the feet & out to the contact points, reducing chatter at high speed & giving the Flagship truly mind bending turn initiation & exit.

Finally the 9900 carbon sintered base is one of the very fastest available & completes what really is a truly stunning snowboard.
